Founded in 1983, The University Health Clinic (UHC) has
always focused on patient-centered healthcare. Integrating
all forms of medicine, natural and conventional, we work hard
to find the most effective, least invasive healing method for
you.
Over the last thirty years the UHC has helped pioneer the
establishment of natural medicine as a recognized element of
the integrated healthcare model. Our practitioners work with
you, your family, and current healthcare providers to ensure
the most comprehensive care possible. We are a primary care
facility focusing on prevention and optimal wellness.
However, many of our patients are also referred to us for
specialty care, as each of our practitioners possess added
experience and expertise in specific areas of medicine. These
include gastrointestinal disorders, women's health,
autoimmune disease, musculoskeletal complaints and many other
conditions.
Currently, we're bringing together Conventional, Naturopathic
and Classical Chinese medicines to better serve all of our
patients. Our independent practitioners are credentialed with
most insurance companies and regularly utilize each others'
specialties and knowledge to better serve you and your family
to achieve comprehensive healthcare.
In 2003, the University Health Clinic Specialty Care and
Research Center was established by UHC physicians who were
interested in pursuing a more research based practice. It is
now a separate and independent clinic located just two doors
north of the UHC.
